Woodland Lodge is located directly on the sunset beach of Koh Jum, an island off the coast of Krabi, Thailand. If you are looking for an unspoilt corner of Krabi, this is it.
Our simple, but comfortable wooden bungalows are situated in a lovely garden overlooking the beach.
We are open all year, please click on the links above to find out more about the resort, and the island.
About us: Ray and Sao (resort owners)
Since graduating in law at Ramkhamhaeng University Sao’s English and management skills have come a long way through working along side farangs. Sao’s first job in 1984 was as a hotel receptionist; she went on to become a travel agent, translator, personnel manager and finally office manager for Chicago Bridge and Iron in Sri Racha, which is where she met Ray.
At the time Ray was working as a Works Manager on a nearby contract. He had also worked in Africa, The Middle East, Central America and The Caribbean before coming to Thailand. They decided to put their skills together and build a resort. It took several years looking for the perfect piece of land before settling in Koh Jum in 2000. Ray was the only farang living on the island and there were only three small resorts there at the time.
